Every year it's the same thing. A flood of people join the gym, struggle through some workouts for a couple months, then disappear. Regular gym goers view this as a negative thing. Waiting for equipment becomes more common, the locker room gets crowded, and half of the people in the gym don't know how to workout safely.
Check out your Facebook, Instagram and Twitter feeds. You're sure to see tons of status posts and memes saying things like, "If you were serious about t, you'd have started 6 months ago" and "If you felt the need to wait until January to workout, you won't stick with it."
I tend to disagree completely with these statements. Those looking to change their lifestyle in the new year are primed for success.
